MOTHER 3: Tribute is Curiomatic's love letter to MOTHER 3, the third game of the MOTHER trilogy by Shigesato Itoi and HAL Laboratory.

Our goal for the project was to imagine what a 3D remake of MOTHER 3 might look like. After closely studying the available promotional and production assets from the original game, we came up with a claymation style that we felt embodied the visual identity of the series.

We produced hundreds of assets, which came together in the form of a mock announcement trailer featuring an original musical medley. You can watch the video below and on our YouTube channel.
